MINISTER'S INTERVIEW WITH REFUGEES MAGAZINE

The Minister has agreed to be interviewed by Stephan Sinclair Loutit, Senior External Affairs Assistant in the Office of the United Nations

High Commissioner for Refugees, in London. The interview will

be published in a forthcoming issue of their magazine Refugees.

The interview is to take place at 3.45 pm on 27 June.

Mr Loutit has now provided a list of questions which he wishes

to raise with the Minister. These are as follows:

How would the Minister describe the significance of World

Refugee Year, for which he received the Nansen Medal?

2. How serious does the Minister regard the problems of today's

refugees?

3. What action is Britain taking in helping to solve world refugee

problems and what are our priorities?

4.

What is the British Government's policy on the question of refugees in Hong Kong? (Mr Loutit recognises that this is not 200m bol Mr Raison's specific responsibility but hopes that he will be prepared UNAR HOUSE
