DENMARK

We expect Hong Kong now to put individual cases to the Danish authorities through UNHCR (para 3 of Nigel French's (HKGO Brussels) telex of 15 November to Ken Woodhouse refers). We have asked you to inform UNHCR of this (our telno 252).

FINLAND

You will by now have seen Helsinki telno 222 confirming that Finland will aim to take the majority (Dossibly 80) of their first annual quo ta of 100

refugees from Hong Kong and the rest from Indonesia.

LUXEMBOURG

We have nothing to add.

BELGIUM

the Embassy in Brussels to speak again to the Belgian Government (our telno 1886 to Hong Kong refers)
