SCORRI REPORT: RECOMMENDATION 36

We spoke. I am attaching a copy of the reply to SCORRI recommendation 36 which has been prepared by the Home Office.

2. I should be grateful if you would consider whether this fully covers FCO participation in international cooperation and consultation. We (SEAD) had envisaged something more detailed to cover UK participation in tackling the problems of Indo-Chinese refugees and I attach a copy of our draft contribution.

3. I should be grateful if you would let me know by 29 August how you consider the Home Office version might be fleshed out.
