(b). In the event aforesaid the buildings on the land so
reverting may if required by the Colonial Government be purchased
from the Secretary of State at such sun as represents their market
value at the date of such reversion, due consideration being given
to site improvement directly attributable to expenditure by the
Secretary of State.
(c).
Should the Colonial Government not require the buildings
on the land so reverting then the Secretary of State shall if required
/Colonial
by the Government forthwith remove all buildings from the land, provided
that if the Colonial Government decides to sell the land with the
buildings thereon and it is so sold there shall be paid to the
Secretary of State out of the price realised a sum equal to the agreed
market value of the buildings, due consideration being given to
site improvement directly attributable to expenditure by the Secretary
of State.
(a). In the case of land which was agricultural at the time
of its original occupation the Secretary of State shall pay to the
Colonial Government any sum incurred by the Colonial Government in
restoring the land into the condition in which it was prior to its
original occupation provided that the sum so to be paid shall not
exceed the value of the land if it were then in the condition
in which it was prior to its original occupation.
(e).
Notwithstanding anything in this clause hereinbefore
contained no sum shall be paid to the Secretary of State in respect
of any building erected or of any site improvement works carried
out at the cost of the Colonial Government.

In the event of the said land or any part thereof ceasing
to be used by the Secretary of State for the said purposes for a
continuous period of twelve months the Governor may give the Secretary
of State three months notice in writing to show cause why the appro-
priation of the said land or unused part thereof should not be terminated
