GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. This licence is the property of Government and must be produced for inspection on demand.

2. This licence is not transferable*.
3. In the event of any contravention of any of these General or the Special Conditions hereto, this licence may be cancelled
compensation or refund of any sum paid.
4. On expiry of cancellation of this licence the Licence Area shall be cleared and all structures removed therefrom to the satisfaction

In default of compliance with this condition such clearance and removal of structures will be carried out by the Government an including any supervisory or overhead charges) shall be paid by the licensee to the Government on demand and may be deducted held. Should any structure or other thing whatsoever be left on the Licence Area, it shall become the property of Government.

5. Any notice required to be given to the licensee may be given by leaving it at his last known address or by sending it thereto by post or by le

7. In the event of the licensee being a registered company, no photograph need be affixed to this licence. In all other cases a photograph of t
must be affixed overleaf.
8. The licensee shall comply with any Ordinance or regulation made thereunder insofar as may be applicable to this licence.
9. No structures other than those specified on page i shall be erected. Plans of such structures must be approved by and thereafter maintained in
state of repair to the satisfaction of the Doerr KOK?”
10. In the absolute discretion of the extexts this fcence may be renewed after the date stated overleaf, but such renewal shall be subject ti conditions herein stated and any further conditions which theo may impose, to payment of the prescribed fee for such renewal period an the attachment hereto of the receipted Demand Note for such Tee.
11. If the licensee or any other person is convicted of an offence against:
(a) the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Chapter 134); or
(b) the Protection of Women and Juveniles Ordinance (Chapter 213): or (c) the Gambling Ordinance (Chapter 148);
arising out of the use of any structure on the Licence Area, the refund of any sum paid..

12. (a) The licensee shall not cut away, remove or set back any land adjoining the Licence Area except with the prior written consent of the

(b) Where any cutting away, removal or setting back of adjacent or nearby hillside or banks or any building up or filling in is required for the purpose of or in connection with the formation, levelling or development of the Licence Area or any part thereof, the licensee shall construct or bear the cost of the construction of such retaining walls or other support as shall or may then or at any time thereafter be necessary to protect and support such hillside and banks and the Licence Area itself and to obviate and prevent any falling away, landslip or subsidence occurring thereafter, and shall at all times maintain the said retaining walls or other support in good and substantial repair and condition. In the event that as a result or arising out of any such formation levelling or development any landslip, subsidence or falling away occurs at any time, whether in or from the adjacent hillside or banks and whether the same be Crown or leased land or in or from the Licence Area itself, the licensee shall at his own expense reinstate and make good the same and shall indemnify the Government from and against all costs, charges, damages, demands and claims whatsoever which shall or may be made, suffered or incurred through or by reason of such landslip subsidence or falling away. In addition to any other rights or remedies herein provided for breach of any of the conditions hereof, the xxx shall be entitled by a notice in writing to call upon the licensee to carry out such construction and/or maintenance or to reinstate and make goot any falling away, landslip or subsidence, and if the licensee shall neglect or fail to comply with such notice within the period specified therein, the DC may forthwith execute and carry out the work and the licensee shall on demand repay to the Government the cost thereof.
13. The licensee shall throughout the period of this licence maintain the Licence Area or any structures permitted to be erected thereon in good and substantial repair and condition and on the expiry or cancellation of this licence shall deliver up the Licence Area in such repair and condition and shall remove the said structures from the Licence Area in accordance with General Condition No. 4.
* N.B.
Notwithstanding General Condition No. 2 above this licence may be cancelled and then re-issued to a person other than the original licensee in certain circumstances such as the death of the licensee or when the licensee gives up the occupation of the Licence Area. However, the re-issue of the licence to a person other than the original licensee would be subject to careful consideration as to future development of the area, and subject to there being no change or breach in the terms and conditions of the licence, i.e. the Licence Area will not be required for development, and the area and user of the Licence Area remain the same as described in the licence and on the licence plan.
