Basic Law consultative committee should be set up in HK so that local residents will have more chances to express their views.

A source: The Basic Law drafting committee will have about 15 HK representatives. Legal professionals will outnumber those from any other sectors as Basic Law drafting will require much legal expertise. But people from other sectors will also be included. A

final decision will be made pending NPC's approval. The drafting committee will have a

total of about 50

members.
