Ming Pao: The six-member group convened by Dr Rayson Huang has made meaningful amendments to the allocation of seats and the demarcation of

sectors.

HK Daily News: BLCC members should come from 11 sectors, namely, industry and commerce, finance, legal, professionals, media, academics, public

services, labour,

religion, expatriates and public opinion.

(report) Chinese Civil Servants Association chairman Kwok Yuen-hon: It is quite reasonable that the civil servants are given six seats as part of the labour and grassroot sector.

(report) Senior Legco Unofficial Lydia Dunn: To have Legco Unofficials sitting on the BLCC in their private capacity will not give rise to any conflict of interest because their mission on both Legco and the BLCC is to work for HK's prosperity and stability.

(report) Dual membership

on Legco and BLCC could not help facilitate communication between the two bodies because members on both groups had to observe the confidentiality rule.
