(report) The Basic Law drafting committee members in HK officially passed the draft constitution for the BLCC at a meeting on September 7. It has been decided in principle that the BLCC should have 150 members, which can be increased to 200 if necessary. Two-thirds of the 150 members will be nominated by various sectors and the remaining members join by invitation extended by the BLCC convenors.
