Legco Unofficial Rita Fan: Basic Law drafting is unlikely to be discussed at formal Legco
sessions. It will instead be left to the Umelco Basic Law panel.
(report) Before the drafting committee holds the first meeting in Peking, the NCNA HK branch has already drawn up a list of 60 persons for inclusion in the consultative committee. If the list is dropped, the 60 persons, who have already been approached by NCNA, will be embarrassed.
