In conclusion, Sir Y K Pao regretted that his meeting with Mr Luce, for whom he evidently has a high regard, had been cancelled. I am taking up with the Minister's Private Office the possibility of reinstating this call, though I pointed out to Y K that I knew for a fact that Mr Luce had a particularly dense programme of engagements this week. He mentioned that he would anyway be seeing Dr Wilson some time today.
