Article 8 relates to the various consequential

amendments to the other enactments set out in the Schedule

to the Order.

The Government hope that the early publication of the

annexed draft Order will provide the basis for informed

discussion of its provisions, and that the interested

parties in particular Hong Kong BDTCs will make their

views known prior to the forthcoming Parliamentary debates.
