Mr AC Galsworthy, the Head of Hong Kong Department, would like to host а lunch for the people concerned with the drafting of the Hong Kong Nationality Order in Council.

The Hong Kong Government will be sending a te am of people to London who will be discussing the Order in Council with officials in the Home Office and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
3. The lunch will be for 10 people and will be held in the Oxford and Cambridge Club. I t is unlikely to cost more than £20 per person. I attach a guest list for the lunch.

4. The Hong Kong team
team visiting London for the discussions on this matter are nothing to do with the Joint Liaison Group. The Nationality Order is a different matter entirely, including my different people. I realise that HKD have been a considerable drain on your funds in recent weeks, largely because of the JLG, but, unfortunately in the wake of the Hong Kong agreement, everything seems to be happening at once. I believe August and September will be quiet months from our point of view and would not anticipate having to trouble you again in the
