You asked for a form of words for an amendment inserting the name

I of the new status into paragraph 2(1)(b) of the Schedule.

suggest leaving out "such new form of British nationality as is

specified in the Order" and inserting "a new form of British

nationality the holders of which shall be known as British Nationals

(Overseas). I am not sure whether the last two words should have

capital initials.

A copy of this letter goes to Pakenham-Walsh with whom I have

discussed the amendment.
