A wife: I imagine there are wives with Mandar In capability who might well be interested in becoming the FCO Mandarin interpreter and would welcome the money. They would need to be ready to travel and could presumably be paid piece rates. We are not best placed to suggest names but again the Ashton family springs to mind.
