5.4 Police/Fire Station

5.4.1 Preliminary requirements for police facilities include a small sub-station/reporting centre. This is subject to detail design, and regional provision strategies from government.

Preliminary requirements for fire ser- vices facilities include a sub-divisional fire station. This is also subject to a regional systems deci- sion by Government.

A 82 ha. site on Castle Peak Road is set to accommodate a joint police-fire- ambulance centre in San Tin. This arrangement has been informally reviewed and deemed acceptable by all agencies concerned.

5.5 Clinic/Old People's Home/

Convalescent Centre

A 1.2 hectare site just south of San Tin is scheduled to accommodate a Community Health Centre including all of the above. A summary outline is below:
