Well, I think we've been round the houses now and we're about to start on the second round and we haven't time for that, so as in

locally! Your second Peking I think we'll and where we started - question, and last one?

Mrs. Thatcher, you VAUDINE ENGLAND, Hong Kong Standard: have spoken quite a lot about Treaties and how Britain doesn't go back on its Treaties: many people in Hong Kong, or at least some people in Hong Kong don't accept the existence of the Treaties themselves and in fact, there were protests yesterday at the airport tò say that much. So can you assuré us that the people of Hong Kong whose views you'll be listening to, will not be confined to bankers and shipowners and businessmen?

P.M.

Yes, they're not all there in the Executive and Legislative Council are they? And actually, we're seeing, is it 12 or 13 groups of peopls tonight? What are we seeing The representatives of the Urban Council, the Urban District Boards the New Territories District Boards, the Po Leung kuk, the Community Organizations, the media very important, the Universities, studen etc.

But one point. about the treaties, I believe they are valid at International Law, and if countries try to abrogate Treaties like that, then it is very serious indeed, because if a country will not stand by one Treaty it will not stand by another Treaty, and that's why you enter into talks because it's better. If you've got differences, between two sides to agree, to vary them in a way satisfactory to all, than for anyone to consider unilateral application.

(Press Officer) Well, thank you very much, ladies and gentle
