As foreshadowed in paragraph 5 of the Acting Political Adviser's circular memorandum of 23 August in this series, I now confirm the membership of the CICC (China Infrastructure and Communications Committee) as follows:

Representatives of other Departments will be invited to attend as agendas dictate.

Of the Joint Working Groups with Shenzhen shown on the chart attached to the Acting Political Adviser's memorandum under reference, DED (DR K F Nip) has assumed chairmanship of the Shenzhen River Flood Control Committee; and SHW (I Howard) that of the Shenzhen River Pollution Committee. An updated chart is attached. I should be grateful if the Secretaries of all committees under the CRC could inform me of any changes to the membership as they occur.
