Delete "relating to the correspondence

and substitute "relating to the fofficial) correspondence concerning

any naval, military or air force matter or of

any other matter relating to the security of Hong Kong; or

the responsibilities of Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom otherwise than with respect to the administration of Hong Kong by its Government,

nor shall secondary evidence be received

....

Replace Clause 14 (2) as follows:-

"Where:

(a)

(b)

any question relating to the correspondence of any naval, military or air force matter, of any matter relating to the security of Hong Kong, or of any matter relating to responsibilities of Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom otherwise than with respect to the administration of Hong Kong by its Government is put to any person ordered to attend to give evidence; or any person is ordered to produce any paper, book, record or document relating thereto,

and objection is made to such question or the production of such paper, book, record or document on the grounds that its publication will be prejudicial to the public interest, the objection shall be referred to the Governor who may excuse the answering of such question or the production of such paper, book, record or document or may order the answering or production thereof."
