Bankruptcy (Amendment) Bill 1985

Sir,

I move that the Bankruptcy (Amendment) Bill 1985

be read the second time.

2.

The proposed amendments make similar provision in

respect of the renumeration of the trustee of a debtor's

estate, and the application of summary procedure, as the

proposed amendments to the Companies Ordinance which I

have just described.

3.

If implemented, they will have a similar effect

in reducing the workload of the Official Receiver's Office.
