Sir,
Will the Government make a statement on
the gang robbery of a watch company in
Tsimshatsui on the evening of May 1,
1985 ?
The Police obtained information that an
armed robbery of the Time Watch Company at 54 Nathan
Road was being planned. While this information was
correct in essence, it was inaccurate and very scanty
in vital respects including when it was all going to
happen. This fact had a direct bearing on the events
that followed.
