As the report is directed essentially at those responsible for overseeing the control and management of public funds, Finance Branch will, after considering the comments and recommendations contained in the report, prepare a Government Minute with the help of relevant departments within three months of the tabling of the PAC report in the Legislative Council. This is the Government's response to the report. It will

After the tabling of the Government Minute in the Legislative Council, the committee may convene again, if members so wish, to
to consider the Government Minute; this will take place in May or June. If members dissatisfied with any aspect of the Minute, they record this in their next annual report. The Director of Audit also follows up in subsequent reports
in subsequent reports any matters from previous reports which in his opinion have not been dealt with adequately.
