confirmed, subject to the addition to Item A85 of a note
to the following effect: "The Council noted that under
the Waterworks Regulations charges are waived for the
testing of meters in
circumstances
where meters are
found to over register or under register and, where
necessary, adjustments are made to the charges for water
supplied. This fact would be made known to the water
consumers."

The Commissioner of Police, Mr R.T.M. HENRY,
attended before the Council to report on the current
situation. The Commissioner also reported on his recent
visit to China.
