PRIME MINISTER'S VISIT TO SOUTH EAST ASIA AND SRI LANKA

I understand that the Prime Minister is likely to

make a decision on her visit to Peking (and Hong Kong)

in the coming days; that the preferred dates will be in

the week before Christmas; and that it is not intended to

include either the three South East Asian countries or

Sri Lanka on this occasion.
