The Joint Liaison Group shall be established on

the entry into force of the Joint Declaration.

July 1988 the Joint Liaison Group shall have its

principal base in Hong Kong. The Joint Liaison Group

shall continue its work until 1 January 2000.

The Joint Liaison Group shall meet in Beijing,

London and Hong Kong. It shall meet at least once in

each of the three locations in each year. The venue

for each meeting shall be agreed between the two sides.

10.

Members of the Joint Liaison Group shall enjoy

diplomatic privileges and immunities as appropriate

when in the three locations.
