It was particularly nice of you to be so welcoming towards my wife as well as myself; but I must explain that, much as I would like to have her with me, she is not free to leave England at the end of September, and we both feel that I should wait and see how the Monitoring Team's programme turns out before settling whether she should join me for some part of the two months.
