1.9. Summing up the findings of 1.4 and 4.4
On the choice of government for Hong Kong, the opinions of respondents in all occupations were similar. Most favoured 'Hongkong people administering Hong Kong'; the next popular choice was 'British administration' while only a small minority (2.16% - 4.14%) favoured 'Chinese administration'. It is noteworthy that over half of those who are professionals chose 'Hongkong people administering Hong Kong'. (See Table 10)

On the choice of government for Hong Kong, there was no marked difference in opinion among those respondents from different educational backgrounds. Mout of them favoured Hongkong people administering Hong Kong'; the next popular choice was 'ritish alministration' while only a few (1.68% - 4.55%) favoured 'Chinese alministration'. (See Table 11)
