1.5 Summing up the findings of 1.1 and 1.2

On whether Hong Kong is part of Chinese territory and whether China has the right to recover Hong Kong, the findings of the poll indicate that the majority of the respondents (90.74%) feel that · Hong Kong is Chinese territory and agree that China has the right to recover Hong Kong. However, of those who feel that Hong Kong ia not Chinese territory, the majority (79.4%) do not agree that China has the right to recover Hong Kong. This shows that the respondents' views on these two issues are related. (See Table 6)
