It is also gratified learn that the future development of the territory is receiving considerable attention in both houses of the British Parliament.

As citizens deeply concerned with how Hong Kong will be governed after 1997, we are naturally anxious to know the British government's The attached questionnaire has been designed for this purpose, and we should be extremely grateful if you could kindly complete and return it to us in two weeks' time.
