I attach the draft record of the PUS' talks with the Secretary General of the Quai d'Orsay, prepared by Mr Ford of the Embassy in Paris. I would be grateful for any comments you or Mr Jenkins may have before the record is typed up in final form. I am however giving the draft a wide distribution to enable departments to take these conversations into account when preparing briefs for the Anglo-French Summit.
