I should be grateful if this deadline could be strictly observed as the papers have to be submitted on 7 December. As some Departments will know, NAD has to submit briefing simultaneously for a visit by the US Secretary of State, Mr Shultz, and will need a little time to process all the briefing involved. I should also be grateful if all briefs could be as short as is consistent with their being usable. This applies particularly to briefs for group III.
