KPRP Secretariat Circular on KUFNCD Anniversary

Excerpts from KPRP Central Committee Secretariat circular:
In order to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the KNUFNS [later called the KUFNCD] on 2nd December, the KPRP Central Committee Secretariat would like to give the following guidance:
(a) Desideratum
(1) Appeal to, stimulate and encourage the people to have greater awareness, to voluntarily close their ranks, and to enhance their sense of heroism by standing up in expressing hatred for the criminal and genocidal Pol Pol-Ieng Sary-Khieu Samphan regime represented by Sihanouk, unmasking the reactionary, comprador capitalist and feudalist nature of the traitorous Son Sann-Sihanouk Khmer groups, and displaying a high sense of determination to struggle in defence of the nation...
(2) See to it that cadres, combatants and the masses realise the revival and the all-round progress made over the past six years under the regime of the PRK and increase confidence in Party leadership.
(3) Continue to strengthen and expand the mass, youth and women's organis- ations, trade unions, and production solidarity groups...
(4) Further increase the forces of national solidarity, socialist internationalism, Vietnam-Kampuchea solidarity, Kampuchea-Vietnam-Laos solidarity, solidarity with the Soviet Union and other fraternal socialist countries, and solidarity with all progressive forces in the world having the sole common objective of advancing towards independ- ence, freedom, and socialism.
(5) Disseminate thoroughly all lines and policies of the Party, government, and front among all strata of the masses, particularly the six-point Party and government policy vis-a-vis those misguided or coerced away by the enemy, so that they can return to the fold of the people, their families and the revolution.
(b) Tasks to be Implemented
From the day this circular is issued to the end of December, life-style meetings should be organised to recall the bitter past created and left behind by the genocidal Pol Pot-leng Sary-Khieu Samphan regime by comparing it to the life under our new regime...
In organising the celebration of the sixth founding anniversary of the front on 2nd December, all units, ministries and offices from central to grassroots levels and all solidarity groups should speed up actual work in increasing production in order to build a prosperous fatherland, pay attention to protecting and strengthening local units, and whip up the movement to persuade misled persons and persons forced away by the enemy to return to their families. . .
