FUTURE OF HONG KONG: LETTER FROM MR DAVID MUDD, MP

1. Mr David Mudd, MP wrote to Mr Luce on 10 April enclosing a letter from his constituent, Dr R A Duncan. Dr Duncan is currently working in Hong Kong. He fears that his future job prospects in the UK (and those of other expatriates in comparable circumstances) could be jeopardised by an influx of Hong Kong Chinese with similar professional qualifications.
