MINISTERIAL VISITS TO HONG KONG

Throughout them, a particular point is made of meeting representatives of as wide a spectrum of opinion as possible.

LEGCO DEBATE 14 MARCH
Hong Kong Government officials have welcomed this initiative by
LEGCO Unofficials. It is both natural and understandable that they
should want to discuss the future. Although too early to say precisely how acceptability of any agreement will be established in Hong Kong, it is important that all sections of Hong Kong opinion shall have a full opportunity to consider and discuss any proposals for a settlement.
