I would be most grateful if you could let me know whether it would be possible for you to accord a brief interview to one of our journalists.
Obviously, the subjects that he would like to discuss with you are likely to be Hong Kong, China, the Lebanon and both the Far and Middle East as a whole, but I suspect that Hong Kong will be the major topic.
I am also enclosing a photocopy of an order that we have received through our representative in Hong Kong from the Hong Kong Development Council, and you will note that I have underlined in red some wording which apparantly the Hong Kong Development Council is asking to have carried on their advertising this year.
It goes without saying that I am intrigued by what government announcement they are expecting in September of this year, if any, and I would be most grateful for any information that you could give me on this, as long as it is not confidential.
