xi. there is no significance in there being ten paragraphs in the statement, and no connection between any 'Chinese 10 points' and these. The ten issues are those which have been resolved;
xii. during the visit, we have 'broken through' on the main problems;
xiii. the detail of the annexes will be enshrined in the Basic Law;
xiv. we cannot speculate on the number of further rounds before the agreement is settled.
