VISIT OF MR LUCE TO SOUTH EAST ASIA AND HONG KONG: PRESS RELEASE

News Department propose to make the following
announcement on Wednesday, 15 February:
''Mr Richard Luce, Minister of of State at the FCO,
will visit Brunei, Hong Kong and Malaysia, between
21 February and 1 March.
Mr Luce, accompanied by Lord Trefgarne, will repre-
sent HMG at the Celebrations on 23-24 February to
mark Brunei's First National Day. Mr Luce is also
taking the opportunity of his presence in the regio
to pay further brief visits to Hong Kong, which he
visited in September 1983, and to visit Malaysia fo
the first time since assuming his present responsi
bilities in June 1983.''
