Thank you for your letters of 24 and 29 February inviting Sir Geoffrey Howe to meet the Committee and Members of the Magistrates' Association when next he visits Hong Kong.

No firm plans have yet been made for Sir Geoffrey to visit Hong Kong. In any case the programme for any such visit would be arranged by the Hong Kong Government. I have therefore arranged for copies of your letters to be passed to the Government Secretariat in Hong Kong.
