1. I have received the attached invitation from Michael Stephen, Chairman of the Bow Group Foreign Affairs Committee. I would be grateful for your comments on the desirability or otherwise of accepting this invitation. My inclination would be to

accept, mainly on the grounds that there are likely to be several MPs there and it is worth keeping in touch with what they are being told. When I have your advice I will of course consult the Secretary of State.
