During their visit, the delegation of Unofficial members
of the Executive and Legislative Councils explained to Chinese
leaders their understanding of the views and anxieties of the
people of Hong Kong about the future of the Territory. They
were not expressing nor did they claim to be expressing
the official view of the Hong Kong government.
