"Sessions of Legislative Council.
XXIA. (1) There shall be a
session of the Legislative Council
once in every calendar year.
(2) A session shall end on
such date as the Governor may appoint
by notice of prorogation published
in the Hong Kong Government Gazette.
(3) A session shall begin
on such date as the Governor may
appoint by notice published in the
Hong Kong Government Gazette, save
that the period between the last
sitting of one session and the first
sitting of the next session shall
not exceed three calendar months.
Dissolution
of
Legislative Council.
XXIB. (1) The Governor shall
dissolve the Legislative Council
immediately after the end of the
session of the said Council in 1985
and, thereafter, shall dissolve

the said Council immediately after
the end of the session in each succeeding
third year.
