Clause XVIII of the principal Instructions is

by numbering the existing provision as

paragraph (1);

where it first appears, the following

"Official or Appointed"; and

by adding the following

Council may resign in accordance with the

electoral Ordinance referred to in Clause

XIII(1)(e).".

8. The principal Instructions are amended by adding,

immediately after Clause XXI, the following

"Sessions of Legislative

Council.

XXIA.

(1) There shall be a session

of the Legislative Council once in every year.

(2) A session shall end on such date as

the Governor may appoint by notice of

prorogation published in the Hong Kong
