In addition to the functions listed in paragraph 11.2 of

the memorandum of 23 September 1981, the Visa Office may issue

replacement passports to Chinese citizens whose passports are

full, or have been lost or stolen, provided that the Visa Office

informs the Immigration Department on a monthly basis of details

of all replacement passports issued in this way.
