Dear in stund,
Thank you for your letter of 8 September about Vietnamese refugees in Hong Kong. It was very helpful to have your views.

I understand that James Adams has already replied to a similar letter that you sent to him. I would like to endorse what he has said.
As you know, I was able to visit some of the refugee camps in Hong Kong during my recent visit there. I found it most helpful to be able to see at first hand the problems that Hong Kong is still facing, and I was greatly impressed by the enormous contribution that all of you involved in this field are making to the resolution of this human tragedy.
May I wish you the best of luck with your project in
Canada?
