In addition to millions of pounds of public money being poured into the Falklands I see that we have now made an aid commitment to Grenada. This may be right or wrong I don't know but, whether Hong Kong is a dependent colony or an independent island, it is surely time that the British Government should be seen to act against the uninterrupted and growing propaganda by which Peking is undermining the already fragile confidence of the Hong Kong Chinese and consequently the long term future of a very important economy.
