3. The suggestion of Zimbabwe and Namibia reflects Mr Munro's earlier conversation with Miss Solesby about the African topics most likely to be of interest to Ministers. In view of latest developments (and by agreement with WAD) I have added Chad provisionally. Briefs should reach Mr Munro in draft by close of play on Monday 5 September. WED will then prepare and clear the steering brief.
