Of the possible citizenship options, which do they prefer?

Does British Administered Territory Citizenship seem a good first option? What objective might there be to it from our side?

Would a new form of citizenship have to distinguish between BDTC's and Hong Kong residence permit holders? Or might it include both? Would there be difficulties with new immigrants from China?
