When new Mauritian High Commissioner called
on Mr Rifkind recently, he said present Mauritian
economic policy was "to attract inward
investment, particularly from Hong Kong".
Subsequently, Sir Gaetan Duval led a delegation
to Hong Kong to try to persuade Hong Kong people
to invest in, and bring their managerial skills to,
Hong Kong.
