1. The PUS has asked AUSS to seek suggestions from th departments about bilateral issues which the Prime Ministry 4" Secretary of State or the PUS as appropriate could take up with Ministers or officials of Commonwealth Governments at the New Delhi CHOGM.

2. I have been asked to let Commonwealth Co-ordination Department know by 1700 hours on Wednesday, 26 October, whether we have any suggestions for topics of this kind, not excluding the Commercial, Aid or Consular fields.

3. I have been asked to give some indication of the priority for such bilateral discussion ie high, medium or low, eg:
