ion Malaysia has shown some interest in this issue. Malaysian institutions lost heavily in the CARRION affair. Similarly,
I would welcome SAD's views on whether the Prime Minister needs any briefing on Afghanistan (I imagine not); Afghanistan may come up in any discussion of the Summit of the Non-aligned Movement in New Delhi; the beginning of which Dr Mahathir is to attend immediately before his arrival in London.
•
For insertion into the above briefs, I should welcome a draft paragraph from the ODA on British Aid Policy towards Malaysia; up-to-date statistics on Anglo/Malaysian trade and a paragraph on the credit agreement from the DOT and if UND could provide a short background piece on the Non-aligned Movement.
