1. I attach the draft Steering Brief for the Secretary of State's meeting with Vice President Bush at 10 am on 9 February.

2. Subject to the views of Private Office, whom we have yet to consult, we propose to copy the Steering Brief and other briefs for the Secretary of State, to No 10 for the information of the Prime Minister.
